Equine Pathways UK is an all volunteer led charity and we need great volunteers to join our team.

Volunteering at Equine Pathways UK is one enjoyable way of helping animal welfare, those who are participating in therapy sessions, and helping out is very rewarding.

Volunteering with us is a great way to meet like-minded people who share the same enthusiasm for animal welfare and helping others. There are lots of other benefits too, such as:

  • gaining new skills or developing existing ones

  • the chance to try out something new

  • doing something useful and rewarding

  • gaining a sense of achievement

  • putting something back into the community

  • developing your personal skills and confidence

  • Gaining a good level of fitness

As a volunteer, you can gain important transferable skills in fundraising, campaigning, finance, team building, management, computers, administration - the list is endless.

Reliability, consistency and a ‘can do’ attitude are three qualities that are a must when volunteering with us at EPUK, our rescue ponies need care 24/7 no matter what! We know that life can be busy, we have appointments, other commitments, and some things are out of our control and that’s okay! But we do ask that you only apply if this is something you can seriously commit to, whether it is one day a week or 5 days a week, we are a busy organisation that relies heavily on those who put their all into caring for our horses and ponies.

We will give references to those who may need one for study or other employment.

If you have some spare time to offer, or want to get involved in an amazing organisation, please email epukcharity@gmail.com if interested and you will be sent a short volunteers application form to fill out.

Experience is desirable although not necessary as training will be provided. We have different areas in which you can volunteer i.e. Stable duties, farm maintenance, gardening, facilitation and more.

Please note, we cannot take on any volunteers under the age of 16.
